I'm sorry to brake it to you, but it is probably not Nichrome wire. To test this measure the resistance at room temperature and again after passing a current through it and heating it. I bet you the resistance goes down when warm => not nichrome.

If you were to combine this in a 40oz glass bottle with the nails and then something like a porous ball to further slow down the time it takes for the glycerin to make contact with the trigger, seal the top then IDK, hang around for the Darwin awards, just make sure the camera is rolling, or RUN! This idea is moronic as hell. DO NOT do as he did in this video. Using metal as the string WILL THROW razor sharp bits of shrapnel ALL OVER the yard and probably into your face and hand etc. This is why string trimmers use plastic, not metal, string. This is fun to make I will probably make more. A monster can aluminum is too thin . I find the blades will break when hitting the stick period a couple broke right after the first day. I am going to try to come up higher on the Hub. Making the blades a little shorter maybe firmer I even made a six blade one and it broke

Unless you add silver and carbon. As for iron exchange, that’s tricky. It was good to find out this information. I didn’t know the brand went into that depth. Silver was a surprise. Wish I knew more about the iron infused beads or however they are called. I use a small pump for fish tanks, powered by a portable battery. I can then just throw a tube into a water bottle or 1, 5 or 10 gallon jug/water bag. The pump is pretty quiet too and lasts all day.

@Dialed in DIY. I got a better hack and a lot less work and expense, plus it will work with all 2-eyelet string trimmers with the bump head. Cut two pieces of string line @ 12””. Knot it on one end grab the knotted end with Klines and then slide the other end through the inside of the eyelet while still grabbing the Klines on knotted end and pull tight. Do both sides. Good for cutting and edging around the house on a single set of lines. I use it on a garden home and no need to replace line on single use even edging against stucco house.

THIS Is just BRILLIANT!!!! the pack i purchases has 15 nozzles. So 5 nozzles are permanently installed at home, which is enough for me. connected to the Spray bottle. When Beach hopping i simply detaches from the main nozzle line. the remaining nozzles "kit" are ready to go!! We set up 5 under Gazebo at beach. and 5 nozzles under braai area. and simply just move our Spray bottle and connect. A MUST HAVE FOR ANY OUT GOING FAM. ENJOY!!!!!
